Category: Final Project Review

Good bye RoBétArmérs!

Exactly four years ago, we held our first online RoBétArmé project pre-kick-off meeting.  It was followed by the in-person kick-off meeting a month later in Thessaloniki, where the project partners got to know each other and embarked on the challenging journey of building two robot systems to help automate the shotcreting process.

Over the course of four years we communicated regularly with the technical developers and use-case partners, discussed, brainstormed and exchanged ideas, striving to find solutions and overcome various technical complexities, as well as organisational and cultural changes.

And during the final project review this week, the time has come to take a moment to reflect on these four years of hard work and celebrate what has been achieved.

It was a tremendous privilege for the DS4 team to be part of the RoBétArmé project consortium, which brought together a large number of talented, committed, and hardworking professionals.  The transparency, mutual respect, and sheer hard work displayed across the board were nothing short of inspiring.  Not only did we create advanced robotic technology, but we also made friends for life. That is really something special.

Thank you RoBétArmérs!

Goodbye MobiSpacers!

For those of you who followed our MobiSpaces journey in the past 3 years, we would like to share with you that our project work has now been completed.  The final review on 16 October 2025 in Genoa presented us with an opportunity to highlight all our project achievements which could benefit thousands of citizens as well as researchers and organisations in big numbers.

Thank you project partners for the collaborative work with our DS4 team.  And thank you Matteo Falsetta for your vision, leadership and support.  Throughout the project you were encouraging us to ‘keep pushing’; at the end of the project your message to us was no different:

‘And remember … KEEP PUSHING … always!!!’

Promise Matteo, we will.  And we know that you will too.

We also know how to celebrate our achievements as the photo from the recent Impact event in Rome shows below 🙂

Until we meet again MobiSpacers!

Once an iHelper, Always an iHelper!

Every partner who was part of the iHelp Consortium will agree with the above statement 100%.

Some of us started with the project at the very beginning, some others joined in later but everyone was welcome and felt at ease in the company of all the others straight away.

Our wonderful project manager George Manias led a large team of talented and hugely committed individuals who embarked on a challenging project during Covid and we all met today at the final project review to present our results and outcomes.

There was no surprise when the reviewers congratulated us on the successful completion of the project.

The DS4 team wants once again to say: thank you George and thank you project partners for the memories.

Proud to be an iHelper!
